Today was back to our regular schedule. We had class in the morning. And then we went off for an excursion. Today our excursion was to bike on the Appia Antica, the Appian Way, the original road in Rome. Haven't been on a bicycle for years. But, it was fun and it was nice to do something outside the city. Everyone survived and we had a great picnic lunch next to this old fortified tower. Some of the students climbed the tower and we have pictures to prove it. I tried to take pictures while riding, but I had a hard enough time just trying to steer the bike.
